As an experienced Project Engineer, I do not need to tell you what your day to day activities will be.
The projects;
With a recent win of 3 camp constrcuction projects, the client is looking for experienced Engineers who are experienced in civil works for campsites. The main focus will be on the earthworks, roads and drainage aspects of the projects. These projects fall in the $10M - $15M category.
The Client;
The client is a progressive Mid-Tier contractor who are solidifying their place in the WA market. They are looking for people who are looking and willing to grow with them, as well as helping them to grow.
The role;
This client is looking for someone who is experienced within the Australian mining infrastructure markets. This is a FIFO role with a difference ....... You won`t be going to the Northwest, but you will be visiting Queensland (3/1 or 2/1 roster - depending on which camp).
With talk of the market being 50/50, why not trying something different for a change ????
You will need to have 4+ years experience within Australia as a Project Engineer. This experience will need to be with a civil contractor who has a focus on mining infrastructure. You will need to have experience on projects with a similar scope of work. Relevant tertiary qualifications are required. (Please no commercial or residential or international candidates)

The client is looking to re-develop (expand) their earthworks team. While they have an established earthworks team, they are looking for someone with a fresh perspective on things to come in and help. They are looking to increase the work capacity of this division, meaning they are looking to bring in more Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and Blue Collar staff. Your experience will be invaluable.
The project, you will be given is for one of the top EPCM's in the country, which is known for ther work over the mining and Oil & Gas fields. It includes 3,000,000m3 of dirt. This includes bulk and detailed earthworks, as well as drill and blast, with some import and export required. Nothing too easy about this project.

It really a role that is ideal for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty and thrives on being in a challening environment.
The scope of work will include reinforced concrete footings, pre cast footings comprising 7, 500cm3 of concrete and 10 000 ton of reinforcement. Some structural work will also be involved.
You will have full autonomy to manage and grow the existing concrete team and will report directly to the Project Director and will be responsible for liasing with both the client and sub contractors.
This is a FIFO Role on a 2x1 roster.

Our client requires a Project Manger to oversee a $324M civil works project on a Iron Ore mine site. The PM will oversee a wide variety of civil works from camp infra structure, to bulk earthworks and concrete.
The earthworks component of the project will focus specifically on non processing infrastructure which will eventually be used for the storage and transportation of the resource.
The company has a long standing reputation for delivering projects on time and on budget. There is an existing team which you will walk in to manage. This team has been working successfully together on three previous projects. This is an environment where with solid policies and procedures together you can become a well oiled machine. The team consists of 128 people and there will be 24 direct reports.
You will work along side the Construction Manager and report to the Project Director. The reporting structure of the organisation will allow you more autonomy and flexibility.
